Project Overview
Glenala State High School requires comprehensive painting services to enhance and maintain the aesthetic and protective qualities of various interior and exterior surfaces across the campus. The project involves specialized painting on ceilings, walls, soffits, bulkheads, doors, skirting, window sills, and external cladding, utilizing industry-standard materials and techniques to ensure durability and visual appeal. This scope aligns with the school’s commitment to maintaining a safe, welcoming, and high-quality learning environment.
Scope of Works
The proposed works include detailed painting services on a range of substrates and architectural elements, as outlined below:
Interior Surfaces (IS):
Painting on plasterboard (PB) ceilings, raking ceilings, soffits (CFC, FC, stair), and bulkheads
Painting on plasterboard low walls, high walls (up to 8.8 m), walls with columns, stair walls, skirting, and window sills
Application of paint on timber window architraves and both single and double doors (including oversized)
Exterior Surfaces (EXT):
Painting on CFC cladding, rendered blockwork, and exposed concrete soffits with Acratex finishes
Application of protective SurfaceShield coating on concrete columns (up to 4 m height)
Additional:
Use of access equipment for safe and efficient painting of elevated and hard-to-reach areas
All works will be conducted in accordance with relevant safety standards and environmental guidelines, ensuring minimal disruption to school activities and the community.
